Types of the stock lists on Qogita

At Qogita, we understand that your inventory doesn't just sit in one state. To help you maximize your sales, capture demand early, and move high volumes of stock, we offer flexible selling models beyond our standard setup.

Depending on your business needs, you can operate under one or more of the following stock file types. If you are interested in activating an alternative stock list type, please reach out to your Qogita account manager!

1. On Floor (Standard stock list)

This is the stock list that uses the stock that you currently have in your warehouse, ready to be picked, packed, and shipped.

• The Benefit: Your standard, day-to-day wholesale operations.
• Delivery Times: Orders must always be fulfilled within 3 working days from receiving the order.
• Stock Updates
• Preferred: Portal upload or Live URL/FTP — stock refreshes automatically every 15–30 minutes
• Legacy: Email update every 3 days — maintain your exact file format and column headers

2. Preorder

Capture market demand early. The Preorder stock list allows buyers to book products in advance, ensuring they get their allocation the moment the goods become available.

• The Benefit: Aggregate buyer demand and secure committed orders before making your final purchasing or stock allocation decisions.
• Pricing Expectations: Preorders work best when highly competitive. To successfully list a preorder on Qogita, your pricing should be highly competitive against the current market catalog.
• Payment Terms: We work with you to secure favorable terms, which can include a down payment when the order is placed, with the outstanding balance paid when the goods are shipped.
• Delivery Times: You must provide clear expected minimum and maximum delivery dates.
• Stock Updates
• Preferred: Portal upload — select Pre-order as the stock type; add at least 1 week of buffer to your expected availability date

3. Incoming Stock

Do you have goods that you've ordered, and they are currently in transit to your warehouse? The Incoming Stock list allows you to list and sell these products before they even arrive.

• The Benefit: Secure buyers and guarantee revenue before your stock is physically on hand.
• Delivery Times: You must provide us with a clear expected lead time (a Minimum and Maximum delivery time, e.g., 4 to 6 weeks).
