Understanding Your Pricing on Qogita
At Qogita, we're committed to fostering a transparent and mutually beneficial partnership with our sellers. A key part of this is ensuring you have a clear understanding of how your products are priced on our platform. This article breaks down our pricing structure, explaining how your initial prices are used and how our factor system works to your advantage.
Your Initial Price: The Starting Point
The foundation of your product's price on Qogita is the price you provide in your stockfeed. This is your price, and it's the starting point for the final price presented to our global network of buyers.
Qogita's Pricing Factors: A Partnership for Growth
To create a competitive and fair marketplace, we then apply two key factors to your initial price. These factors are designed to reward efficiency and quality, directly impacting your competitiveness and sales volume. Think of them as a way to turn your operational excellence into a pricing advantage.
1. The Shipping Costs Factor
This factors is a reflection of your recent shipping costs and is heavily influenced by your packing efficiency.
- How it works: We analyze the costs associated with shipping your products to buyers. More efficiently packed orders—those that are compact and well-protected—cost less to ship.
- How to improve your factor: By optimizing your packaging and packing processes, you can directly lower this factor. For example, when shipping multiple boxes for an order, combine them into as few boxes as possible between 12 and 20kg.
- The benefit to you: A lower shipping cost factor translates to a lower final price for your products on Qogita. This makes your offerings more attractive to buyers, leading to an increase in your orders and overall sales.
2. The Claims Cost Factor
This factor is based on the number of claims raised against your orders over a recent period.
- How it works: This factor is a direct measure of customer satisfaction and order accuracy. Fewer claims mean a lower factor.
- How to improve your factor: You can improve this factor by focusing on two key areas:
- Packaging Protection: Follow Qogita’s packaging requirements to ensure goods are properly protected and the risk of damage is minimized. Shipments packed per these guidelines are also ensured, and do not count towards your Claim Cost factor.
- Order Accuracy: Double-checking that you are shipping the correct items and quantities is crucial. Accurate orders lead to happy customers and fewer claims.
- The benefit to you: A low claims cost factor demonstrates reliability and quality to our buyers. This not only improves your pricing but also builds trust, encouraging repeat purchases and a stronger reputation on the Qogita platform.
Your Success is Our Success
By understanding and actively managing these two factors, you can directly influence your pricing, your competitiveness, and your success on Qogita. We encourage you to see these as tools for growth, allowing you to turn your operational efficiencies into more orders and a thriving business.
